How can we help?

Notifications do not arrive

1. In-app switch: Settings → Prayer notifications on? For each prayer, at least one of “at the time” or “before” must be on.
2. Android permission: Phone Settings → Apps → Namazını Kaçırma! → Notifications must be on, and channels (Prayer, Daily content, etc.) must not be switched off individually.
3. Battery saving: On the same screen, set Battery to “Unrestricted”. On Samsung the app must not be in “Sleeping apps”; on Xiaomi/Huawei/Oppo “Autostart” must be on.
4. Do Not Disturb: While Do Not Disturb is on, sound alerts and the adhan do not play; this is a deliberate design choice. If you set up worship mode, the phone is also silenced for the duration you chose.
5. Exact-time alerts: Android 12 and newer asks for the “Alarms & reminders” permission; without it, notifications may shift by a few minutes.

The adhan does not play or stops early

• If the phone is on silent, vibrate or Do Not Disturb, the adhan does not play by design. There is no “alarm mode” that overrides this.
• The adhan plays on the media volume channel; check your media volume.
• If the app has no recording of the dawn adhan with its special phrase, imsak and dawn are announced with a short prayer-time sound instead of the full adhan; Settings says so.
• A short notification sound briefly lowers the adhan, which then continues. If another app starts playing audio or a call comes in, the adhan stops.

My location is not found

• “Use my location” works once, only when you allow it and while the app is open. If you did not allow it or you are indoors, choose your province and district from the list; the result is the same.
• If there are no prayer-time data for your district, you may explicitly choose the province centre's times; the app never silently uses another place's times.
• If your location is found but you still see “no prayer-time data”, the issue is the prayer-time package, not your location; see below.

Prayer times are missing or “data ending soon” appears

• Make sure you have the latest version of the app; new prayer times arrive as packages with updates and when you are online, then work offline.
• Older versions may not be able to read the new package format.
• The app never shows invented times: without a package you see a clear notice instead of six times. That is safer than showing wrong times.

Times differ by a few minutes from what I know

• Check Settings → Prayer-time and content source. With Diyanet selected, the times are Diyanet's announcement. If you chose a community whose method has been verified, times are calculated by that method and labelled “Calculated for the selected community”; otherwise the Diyanet announcement is shown.
• Is the selected province and district correct? Neighbouring districts can differ by a few minutes.
• The source and method in use are listed under Settings → Privacy and about → References.

The widget does not update

• The widget updates at the change of day and at prayer-time transitions; battery restrictions can prevent this (see notification step 3).
• You can choose the widget's density, colour, transparency and text size again on the “Edit widget” screen, also reachable in the app via Settings → Home screen widgets.
• If the problem persists, remove the widget and add it again.

I want to delete my data

• Settings → Personal details → “Delete my personal details”: your name, birth date and gender are deleted.
• Worship → My worship goals: delete goals and the history you ticked, each with a separate confirmation.
• Uninstalling the app removes all data from the device. We keep no personal data on servers, so no separate deletion request is needed. When Premium goes on sale, purchase-record requests will also be made from within the app.

• If you see a wrong date, time or text, please write to us with a screenshot; we will check it against its source and correct it.
• Once the app is on Google Play, your reviews and ratings will mean a lot to us. For now, e-mail is the best way.
