Qibla
The qibla arrow lives inside the Today screen, no extra page. It works approximately from your chosen city and can be refined once with your location.
Thoughtful notifications
Quiet alerts before and at prayer time, with an optional adhan when the time comes. Gentle reminders for the verse, hadith or prayer of the day come at most five times a day and never at night. Every type can be switched on or off.
Gregorian and Hijri calendar
The Hijri date sits inside every cell of the monthly grid. Holy nights, Eids and religious days are marked, and you can add your own reminder to any date.
Worship page
The suggestion that fits the moment comes first: the forenoon prayer, tasbih after prayer, the night prayer. All voluntary, never an obligation. You set and tick your own goals; your ticks stay on your phone.
Home-screen widgets
The date, the next prayer or a day summary on your home screen without opening the app. Two widgets with adjustable colour, transparency, text size and prayer-time display.
Five languages, real Arabic
Türkçe, English, Français, Deutsch and العربية. Arabic comes with a full right-to-left layout. Religious texts appear only in languages with an approved translation; no machine translation.
Offline, no account
Calendar and date calculations run fully offline; downloaded prayer times are kept on the phone. No sign-up, no membership, no password. Start using it right after setup.
Sources you choose and see
The default is the official announcement of Türkiye's Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet). You may choose your community instead; every time and text names its source in the in-app References. Sources are never mixed.

Why it is different
Three principles you can trust
Your data stays on your phone
No account, no analytics, no background location tracking. Your location is used only when you tap “Use my location”, once and at that moment; raw coordinates are not stored.
- Optional details such as your name and birth date are encrypted on the device and never leave it.
- Your source choice and notification settings never reach ad networks or servers.
- Verse, hadith and prayer texts are kept off the lock screen; you read them in the app.
Clear sources, nothing made up
The publisher of every prayer time, religious day and text is named in the References. Calculated results and official announcements are labelled separately.

- Diyanet announcements and other publishers' content are never mixed.

How it works
A few short steps, then it is yours
Choose your language
Turkish, English, French, German or Arabic. The app switches instantly; you can change it later in Settings.
Set your place
Find your province and district with one tap using “Use my location”, or pick it from the list. Either works; location permission is optional.
Pick your source and notifications
Diyanet is the default; you may choose your community. Turn notifications on with one tap and switch off any type later.
Your Today screen is ready
Prayer times, qibla and both dates on the first screen. Add a widget to your home screen to see them without opening the app.

Good to know
Is the app free?
Yes. The free version has a few ad spaces kept apart from the content. Premium removes them completely; calendar, prayer times, qibla and content are the same in both.
Where do the prayer times come from?
By default, from the times announced by Türkiye's Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet). You may choose a community in Settings; once that community's own method has been verified against a published table, times are calculated by that method and labelled “Calculated for the selected community”. Until then the Diyanet announcement is shown. The source in use is always named in the References. Namazını Kaçırma! is not an official Diyanet app.
Do I need an internet connection?
Calendar, Hijri dates and date calculations are fully offline. Prayer times and content come from packages stored on your phone and work without internet; new packages arrive with app updates or when you are online. The app warns you before the prayer-time data runs out.
Do you track my location?
No. Background location permission is never requested, and the app has no such feature. When you tap “Use my location”, your location is read once and matched to a province and district; raw coordinates are not stored or sent anywhere. You can also choose your district from the list without granting any permission.
Where do ads appear?
In the free version, ads sit at the end of screens, apart from the content. There are no ads in verse, hadith, prayer or reading pages, in Settings or in notifications. Full-screen ads appear only at page transitions and rarely; never around prayer times, during the adhan, in worship mode or during your first days of use. Ads are requested non-personalised.
When will Premium be available, and what will it cost?
Premium will be offered monthly or one-time after the app launches on Google Play. We do not list prices on this site; you will see them in the store in your own currency. The two special icon sets are being prepared now.
Which languages are supported?
The interface is available in Turkish, English, French, German and Arabic, with a true right-to-left layout for Arabic. Verse, hadith and prayer texts appear only in languages with an approved translation; no automatic translation is used.
Is there an iPhone version?
Not at this time; Android only (8.0 and newer). A Google Play link will appear on this page at launch.
